The mistake that people make

The mistake people make when they go on a diet is that they do not change their thoughts and core beliefs . Either they can not lose the weight they want, or if they lose they put it all again. The old you put all that weight on , if you need a new you release the weight and maintain an ideal weight. We humans are governed by our thoughts, our thoughts determine our actions, and our actions give us the results we are experiencing . So bottom line ... if you want things in your life to change , you're going to change things in your life. And the first thing you need to change your thoughts is .

Think long term

Another mistake people make is that they expect instant gratification. We live in a world of fast food and drive-thrus , and we expect life to be like in the movies where there is nothing but a series of summits ... climax after climax after climax. The real world does not work that way . If you want things to change, you must think long term and you need to do the right things long enough and consistent . Think about it ... If you have not done anything different than what you are currently doing , how do you look in 3 months ? How do you look in a year, five years or ten years ? If you have not done anything different how long would the lapse of three months from now? 3 months right? If you have done something different how long would the lapse of three months from now? Yep, three months . So if you take action or not , time will pass ... then what do you have to lose ? If you want things in your life to change , you're going to change things in your life. Think long term - there are no shortcuts, there are no results for the magical night , there is no instant gratification , you have to do the right things long enough and consistent . Think consistency in intensity. Be persistent .

Your thoughts and beliefs can prevent you from doing what you want

See how current your thoughts give you your current results . At the moment you do things a certain way, but you know you should do things differently . There is a gap between what you do and what you know you should do. So you decide to make some changes and you begin to position what you do now that you know you should do. Along the way you encounter small "obstacles" . These obstacles are your current thoughts and beliefs - think of them as your " internal programs " that run your life Let's say you are working on shedding weight and you start hitting the gym to work out , however . . you have an existing belief that says "I hate exercise ." This belief is not in alignment with the new ideal that you are trying to achieve. Your existing belief "I hate exercise " is not in harmony with your new thought " I'm fit and slim ." This non - congruence sows doubt in your mind , doubt creates the emotion of fear , and fear is manifested as anxiety in your body. When you feel this anxiety you " bounce " on the "obstacle" of existing belief and return to what you were doing before .

Looking back on safety

The sad thing is that a return to what you were doing before , you do not get what you want , but you feel comfortable. Back where you do not get what you want, there are no worries , because there are no conflicting beliefs . So , you stay where you are bound , even if it is not what you really want. At least you feel "comfortable" in your misery. When you learn to break the fear and do what you know you should , you will experience personal freedom.
