A . Learn how to calculate your number of hunger. This is really more of a scoring system then a calculation, but it works like a charm and in a few days you could see a natural reduction in the amount of food you eat without hunger or deprivation .

What you want to do is create a simple scale hunger. This is a scale with "0 " at one end and "10 " on the other . "0" indicates that you are not hungry at all, in fact, you feel stuffed . The " 10 " indicates that you're super hungry and need something now!

What you want to do is set a timer to buzz within two hours during the day. When you hear the buzz simply ask yourself, "How hungry do not feel my belly ? " Then assign your hunger a number . You will need to do this for at least 5 days before you start seeing the correlation. About 4 or 5 days, you begin to see that you often "feel" like eating , but you're not really hungry.

This knowledge will help you make better decisions about how much to eat and when to eat. For example, if you enter a restaurant for lunch and discover that your number of hunger is only 2 , then you can choose to just have a drink or have something light , like a salad . You'll leave feeling pleasantly full restaurant, instead of stuffed .

Think about how many calories it will prevent you from eating ! Simple and effective.

2 . Use a plug. We often have to eat too much because of the situation we are in. For example , have you ever been to the cinema and ordered a large popcorn , just because it seems like the right thing to do ? We all popcorn associated with movies, but if you notice that your number of hunger is low, then you may want to not engage in any calories.

This is when a plug can be practical. You can eat popcorn and then put a plug in the mouth. That's all changing the taste you have in your mouth , try a sweet strong mint or a piece of gum . This gives you an opportunity to get away from eating and allows time for the stomach to tell your brain that you are full. This works very well to avoid the dessert too!
